How To Keep 'Em Sparkling

Hello Jewelry Lovers!

My post today is about how to keep your jewelry in good condition to make sure it stays sparkly and bright! Here are a few tips for taking care of your goodies:

*Gold plated jewelry should always be stored in a pouch or jewelry box. Do not shower or swim with plated pieces and make sure not to spray your perfume directly on them!

*Sterling silver jewelry can be polished with a sterling cloth, but if you don't have one handy--use your fingers or a toothbrush to coat the piece with toothpaste, and rinse off completely with water.

*Never spray perfume on pearls of any kind and do your best not to get them wet. Pearls will lose their luster if you expose them to liquids of any kind.

*White gold pieces can be rhodium plated if they start to yellow after years of wear.
